About Me
I’m just a regular round the way girl. I’m sure I’m no different than any of you reading this post. I work hard and love to play hard. I’m at the point in my life that I want to choose when I work, and when I play. (If you know what I mean) In my opinion working your life away to make someone else rich just doesn’t make sense.
I realized just a few months ago that it was time to poop or get off the pot! I realized I had to break my old habits if I wanted to reach the kind of success that I dreamed. So here I am. Wow! There have been so many changes in my life. Where do I begin? First of all I left my job. Corporate America just wasn’t for me. (Working myself like a dog to make someone else rich)
I would rather work hard for myself in order to make my visions, my dreams a reality. You see, I plan to make a difference. I don’t believe I’m on this earth to just exist. I’m definitely here for a reason. Knowing this, I made the decision to implement a lot of changes in my life. I have grasped the fact that every successful business began with an idea. (A dream) Someone was driven enough to get into action and make that idea a successful business. I realized that I was working hard at my job to make someone’s dream a reality for them. (I can do the same for myself)
Like I mentioned above. (Call me Crazy) I left my job. It may not have been the best job but it definitely paid the bills and gave me the ability to have a pretty good social life. Not only did I quit my job, I also cut off some friends. (Call me Crazy again) It wasn’t because I didn’t care about them. It was because I realized this point in time was not a good time for our friendship. (I’m on Grind Mode) I realized many of those relationships were not adding value to my Dream. (straight honesty)
Now call me (Crazy) again! lol I also moved out of a city I have grown to love. Shout Out to Charlotte NC! My reason for moving is because I wanted to get away from everything familiar in order to break the old me and get ready for the New Me. So there you have it! A little insight into who I am. These are my thoughts.
I would like to encourage you to go after your passions. If you don’t know what your passion may be, I would recommend you doing some soul searching. Life is much more rewarding when you are doing what you Love to do as well as making a difference!
Thanks for dropping by.
Much Success,

OMG I’m so glad I read this Lorina. Unfortunately I have not had a full-time permanent job since ’06 and FINALLY decided it was time to find my own self-worth so that I can provide for my children. I’ve been thinking LONG and HARD about leaving the Raleigh and moving to FL, and I mean the pan-handel of FL too, in another time zone. WOW again I’m glad I read this.
Hi Felicia, Thanks for stopping by. I’m happy to hear that you are recognizing your worth. I have realized how important it is to make big moves if you want big changes! Good for you.
Much Success,

Hi Lorina, that was a great story on your life and your decision to make a change in your life. I too have somewhat a similar story. I’ve been on disability since 2001 and I was just existing, on a fixed-income, broke and no ambitious friends, non-supportive family members and decided I needed a change. I stepped out of my comfort zone, faced my fear, and realized I had to change my mindset and decided MLM, which my bestfriend and I are working diligently together and working our business. I see my vision financially where I want to be and the only way I will not win is if I quit, and that’s not an option. Enjoy and let’s talk soon.
Hi Sheila,
Thank you so much for coming by my blog. That is awesome that you were brave enough to step outside of your comfort zone. I can definitely relate to your story as well. I realized the people that I was spending the bulk of my time had very little ambition. It’s amazing how many people are comfortable with just being average. Life is meant to be enjoyable. Living a life full of struggle should not be acceptable by anyone. I commend you for getting out there and making things happen! Good for you! It all starts with the right mindset. Your are absolutely right. You will make your visions a reality. Continue to work diligently, connect with like minded people and never quit! I look forward to connecting with you further.
Much Success to you!
Lorina
